Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager position for a Polymer Factory at Rojana Industrial Estate, Ayutthaya Thailand. Our client has a new opportunity for an Assistant Production Manager to support operations at their brand new plant and to provide practical, hands-on assistance and guidance to the Production Team.
- Provide technical process support and route cause analysis for Production issues
- Provide regular support to the Production Manager, ensure a continuous line of communication is open and all escalations are shared and recorded appropriately.
- Monitor daily running conditions across the plant, highlight and action any issues and capture any learnings to be shared with the team
- Promote / organise and execute Continuous Improvement projects on site engaging with the team s and ensuring their buy in and involvement. Publicists the works completed along with the benefits (H/S, QA, Utilisation, Workplace Organisation etc)
- Complete any other reasonable tasks.
Qualification Required
- Bachelor of Engineering Major in Chemistry or related field in Chemical
- At least 5 years experience of line production about Chemical Raw Material / Chemical Industry / Manufacturer in chemical product / Petrochemia etc.
- Good command in English
- LEAN techniques ( 5S, SMED, TPM etc )
- Minimum of IOSH
- Significant experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
- Must have been involved in / led improvement activities with tangible results.
- Self-motivated and can run with own initiative and knows the inner workings of a typical operational plant.
