Global Technical Manager (PES Dyeing) -Textile Effects Division

Asia HR is looking for a very senior technical expert in polyester dyeing (disperse dyes) for the Textile Effects Division of a US-based chemical products manufacturer.

• Support and drive global blockbuster Key Account Plans (KAPs)
• Develop multi-level Technical Resources and train local Technical Service (TS) and sales
  teams
• Initiate sharing cross-regional successes and learnings
• Ensure prompt support to key customers with blockbuster KAPs
• Promote our products and systems at customers and run trials with local TS
• Participate in fairs and seminars
• Contribute to the R&D process with application know how
• Develop and interact with fiber and machine producers
• Support the screening of new products in the respective segment
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of competition databases and analysis
• Support the development of mid to long term strategy – Target market / PG / competitors
• Provide feedback for technical developments related to new trends / fast growing segment
• Support Brands & Retail (B&R) team with their major customers / programs

• 10 to 15 years of dyes experience in textiles or related industry
•  Experience gained from multinational environment preferred
• University degree in Textiles, chemistry, or chemical engineering
• Business English proficiency is required. Mandarin Chinese speaking/writing is
  advantageous.
